Traditional Thai Yoga Bodywork

Some healing traditions have endured for thousands of years because they work — deeply, and on multiple levels. Traditional Thai Yoga Bodywork is one of them.

Rooted in the ancient temples of Thailand and drawing from the wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda, this 2,500-year-old practice — also known as Nuad Boran — is often described as "assisted yoga" or "yoga for people who want someone to do the work with them." And in many ways, that's exactly what it is: a dynamic, meditative exchange that leaves both body and mind transformed.

During a session, I work along the body's energy lines (Sen) and pressure points using a combination of rhythmic compressions, palming, thumbing, and assisted stretching. The result is a deeply integrative experience that addresses not just physical tension but energetic stagnation and mental fatigue as well.

Benefits include:

  • Relief from muscular tension and chronic pain

  • Improved flexibility and range of motion

  • Enhanced circulation and lymphatic flow

  • Reduced stress and deeper nervous system regulation

  • Energetic balance and a renewed sense of vitality

Thai Yoga Bodywork is traditionally practiced on a mat on the floor, with both of us in comfortable, movement-friendly clothing. If being close to the ground is uncomfortable for any reason, sessions can also be adapted to a massage table — your comfort is always the priority.

This session is for you if:

  • You feel stiff, compressed, or energetically stuck

  • You want something more active and movement-based than a traditional massage

  • You're curious about energy-based bodywork and holistic healing

  • You want to leave feeling genuinely lighter — in body, mind, and spirit
